Saint Mad brings a wealth of collective musical experience to their quirky brand of pop. Rich vocal textures, unusual harmonies, and compassionate, inspirational lyrics are hallmarks of their original tunes and arrangements of familiar standards - everything from Sinatra to the Beatles.

Martha Michael, vocals & trumpet, Molly Mahoney - vocals & keyboard, and Jim Harris , vocals, guitar & cello, met in the choir at St. Madeleine Sophie Church in Mount Airy, where Molly was music director for eight years. In 2002, they began writing songs together and playing at various venues and charitable events in the Philadelphia area. In 2005, Lynda Chen joined the band, bringing her skills in vocals & euphonium into the mix.
